Magic Scaling Test 2

As a test of the new uprezzing algorithm we're working on, here are three images. The HD image is taken from the Apple sampler CD of 1080i60 footage that comes with FCP HD. From there, I used Photoshop to scale it down to Standard Definition size - 720 * 480, and then I used Photoshop's Bicubic scaling to take it back up to HD resolution. I also took the Standard Definition Image and scaled it up to HD resolution using the new Magic Uprezzing algorithm. The algorithm currently has many different settings, and one of the tasks here is to see which setting produce the best results, but I think you'll see that even in these very early stages the algorithm is producing great results.
